På Youtube-sidan där denna låt publicerats, finns många kommentarer till sången. Bl.a denna finstämda berättelse och bekännelse om en son och hans far och mor:

A year before my father died [4.2.1922~1986] I was in my room and listened to Every Grain Of Sand ~ Then my dad came into my room in silence and said》 I don 't know much about that guy you listening too, but I like it. Then we both listening to that song, fall into each others arms and cried. One year later he died in my arms in a hospital. He always said to me 》Son, if there is any chance that I can send you a message from the other side of the morning, I will do so. And he did. Now he and my mother that died in 2014 are in Heaven.
